Non-Residents
LAUSD has a new enrollment process for non-resident students who wish to attend Affiliated Charter schools. This includes siblings of currently enrolled students who were admitted through the lottery. Non-resident applicants who wish to attend an affiliated charter school must complete the Unified Enrollment (UE) application. Parents/Guardians may apply for more than one Affiliated Charter school online. This can be done by going to apply.lausd.net or goto.lausd.net
Unified Enrollment Timeline

| December 2023 | Families who applied with an on-time application will be notified of receipt through a confirmation letter |
| February 1, 2024 | Late application window opens and applicants will be placed on a wait list. |
| February 5, 2024 | Pali Elementary will receive a list of applications from Unified Enrollment and will conduct a public drawing (lottery) for non-resident students. |
| March 11, 2024 | On-time applicants will receive a letter in US Mail to inform them of their selection status. |
| April - August 2024 | Schools contact on-time applicants on the wait list when space becomes available. Parents/guardians who accept a selection will begin the enrollment process with the school. |
Additional Information
- If the number of students who wish to attend Palisades Charter Elementary School exceeds the school’s capacity or the capacity of students that can be accommodated at any grade level, then the admission of new students is determined by a public random drawing [Education Code 47605(d)(2)(B)]. The random drawing for determining admission priority shall take into account the admission and enrollment priorities outlined in the Palisades Charter Elementary School Charter.
- LAUSD generates the list for us and separates groups (in the district, out of the district, siblings). Once the lottery has been drawn, the district will then begin adding the “late” lottery list to the end of our lottery-drawn list.
