On-Campus Volunteer


If you would like to volunteer on campus during school hours at Palisades Charter Elementary School, you must complete the volunteer application process. Follow the steps below to get approved.
 

New Volunteers

  1. Create a Parent Portal account if you do not have one already.
    1. NOTE: Families new to LAUSD will be able to create a parent portal account beginning in August before their child begins school.
  2. Complete online volunteer application. (Print or Save & Sign - save for step 7)
  3. Complete Volunteer Commitment Form: (Print OR Save & Sign - save for step 7)
  4. Complete the Liability Waiver: (Print OR Save & Sign - save for step 7)
  5. Take a Tuberculosis test (within 60 days prior to your application) and complete this TB form.
    1. Tests can be taken with your regular healthcare provider or at some urgent care facilities like Sunset Urgent Care and Santa Monica Urgent Care.
  6. Upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination to Daily Pass.
  7. Finally, Submit ALL documents to Kris in the main office ([email protected]).
    1. Online application from step 2, signed (e-signatures accepted)
    2. Volunteer Commitment Form from step 3, signed (e-signatures accepted)
    3. Liability Waiver from step 4, signed (e-signatures accepted)
    4. TB Test Form

Returning Volunteers

If you were an approved volunteer at Pali previously and your TB test is still valid (within the last 4 years), please complete the following steps:
  1. Complete the online volunteer application. (Print or Save & Sign - save for step 5)
  2. Complete Volunteer Commitment Form: (Print OR Save & Sign - save for step 5)
  3. Complete the Liability Waiver: (Print OR Save & Sign - save for step 5)
  4. If you have not already done so, upload proof of COVID-19 vaccination to Daily Pass.
  5. Submit ALL documents to Kris in the main office ([email protected]).
    1. Online application from step 1, signed (e-signatures accepted)
    2. Volunteer Commitment Form from step 2, signed (e-signatures accepted)
    3. Liability Waiver from step 3, signed (e-signatures accepted)
